I've been absent for the last few months because I've been busy (A) at work and (B) becoming obsessed with Stargate. It's not an addiction I'm proud of, trust me, but it's there none the less.

I wanted to try my hand at some digital painting a la the Indiana Jones movie posters. This was my first attempt; I'm okay with how Vala turned out (at least she resembles Claudia Black), but I guess I can't draw Daniel/Michael Shanks to save my butt. Sorry. But I hope you enjoy anyway.

Yay! Stargate! Gotta love that show.

Though I really can't stand Vala, Daniel's my favorite character. :D

I like the overall colors you used in this- the background really brings out the portraits, I think. I like the detail put into Daniel's hair, though it seems like it needs some sharp, darker areas to vary it a bit more. The cloths look awesome, though. The blending on the highlights really pulls it together.

Can't wait to see more! :D

Yay! Another Stargate fan! Yeah...I love this show tooooooo much T_T. I started with Atlantis in January, and the backfilled SG1 after that. I've spent so much on Box Sets in the past month that I think MGM might own my soul.

Daniel is definitely an amazing character. It's a three-way tie between him, Vala and Sheppard for top spot in my books. Personally, I love Vala to pieces--Claudia Black is my hero for making her annoying and endearing at the same time. She brings out a side of Daniel that I love to watch :)

Thanks for commenting, btw! I love constructive feed back like this. I see what you mean about needing more shadows in Daniel's hair. I'll have to go in and darken it up. I'm glad you liked the clothes! I was watching Pride and Prejudice while drawing and couldn't resist dressing them up in 19th century clothing ;).
