I've been absent for the last few months because I've been busy (A) at work and (B) becoming obsessed with Stargate. It's not an addiction I'm proud of, trust me, but it's there none the less.

I wanted to try my hand at some digital painting a la the Indiana Jones movie posters. This was my first attempt; I'm okay with how Vala turned out (at least she resembles Claudia Black), but I guess I can't draw Daniel/Michael Shanks to save my butt. Sorry. But I hope you enjoy anyway.

Gorgeously done! :)

I think you did both characters/actors excellently. I immediately recognized them, and I like your choice of positioning relation to each other and the style of clothes. I could almost imagine that you've captured a private moment shared between them, where Vala is being honest with Daniel and he in turn opens his heart to her, trusting her. :)

This is a very beautiful drawing.:) I love to do Stargate-related drawings, but I suck at doing portraits of the characters, so I avoid that, although I'd love to do it.

I think I've become a Daniel/Vala shipper. Maybe it's because I'm a lot like Vala, and I have a crush on Daniel. Or perhaps it's because my boyfriend is a lot like Daniel (he has the haircut, the glasses, the nerdy-ness, and everything).

Either way, that's a wonderful drawing, and you have a great talent. :)
