I've been wanting to draw this picture since the first time I saw 12K, but never got around to it. After rewatching the series this past week (did the Tai arc twice, even), I just had churn it out.
"He sees his reflection in the window and realizes that he is crying."
After watching episode 20, and seeing Kaname paint picture after picture of different images from the 12K, I started imagining what his reaction would be if he instinctively painted Gyousou. I figure that it would release some emotions that he cannot explain.
